Pastor David & Kaydi Hurley
David grew up in Jefferson and has attended ALC most of his life. His father and mother met at Abundant Life and raised their family of five at the church. It’s because of David’s parents, he and Kaydi first met; Kaydi was their neighbor! The two were married in 2016 and have a daughter together, Eloise, to round out their family of five with Grace, Jude, and Bellagrace. David and Kaydi have been involved in kid’s ministry since attending ALC together and took over the leadership in 2022. David also manages and roasts coffee beans for Margin Coffee Roasters in Albany. Kaydi, along with being a mom, also works part-time at Samaritan Health Services.

Favorite thing about ALC
ALC has always felt like a family to me. We cultivate deep, personal relationships as we all pursue a relationship with our Lord.
Who/What inspires you
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was pretty inspiring. The guy had a deep commitment to people and their faith.
Something few people know
A house hit my car when I was in high school. Ask me about that story sometime...and about the anthill in the trunk of that same car!
Farthest you've traveled from home
I’ve been fortunate to have traveled to Australia and the Philippians.
Favorite Coffee Drink
You can’t go wrong with a black cup of coffee from Margin Coffee; naturally processed Ethiopian beans are my favorite.
