Jeff and Karie have been married since 1999, and have four amazing children; Kendra and son in-law Ryan, Ellie, Aidan, and Kaitlynn. Jeff came to know the Lord as an adult, at the age of 24. Karie accepted the Lord at age eight and rededicated her life to the Lord at age 24. Jeff felt called into ministry early on and has volunteered in a variety of ways including in children’s ministry while his children were in that age range. They moved to Jefferson in 2013, from Central Oregon and began attending ALC in 2015.

Jeff spent the many years in Law Enforcement where he was able to learn and build critical skills working with adults and youth in crisis. In early 2022, Jeff felt the calling to leave Law Enforcement to pursue full-time ministry. He was hired as the ALC youth pastor in fall of 2022. He is now using his skills and training to help our youth navigate cultural and spiritual challenges as they grow in faith!

Karie is a home school mom with a passion for learning and teaching. Karie leads our prayer team and gains fulfillment as she walks beside people on their journey with Jesus. In their free time, Jeff and Karie enjoy kayaking, fishing, camping, and spending quality time with friends.
